sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade
sudo apt autoremove

After updating Ubuntu OS successfully, move to the procedure of installing VMware Workstation Player.

Installing Nesscary Build

Now your job is to command the OS to make the downloaded package available for installation and install it for your convenience.
