If you are playing Sonic Frontiers on Steam and your controller isn’t working with the game, it’s mainly because the client isn’t supporting the controller’s input.
However, before proceeding, make sure you have implied the basic fixes like unplugging and replugging the controllers. And disconnect any other gaming wheels from your computer.

Disable Steam Input

1. Launch the Steam Client on your computer.
2. Navigate to the Library section.
3. Right-click on Sonic Frontiers and select Properties.
4. Go to the Controller section from the left pane.
5. From the drop-down menu in the right pane, select the Disable Steam Input option.
6. Now, launch Sonic Frontiers on Steam.
Launch Steam as Administrator

1. Right-click on the Steam client and select Properties.
2. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
3. Check the Run as administrator box and click on the Ok button.
Note:Â In some Windows 11 versions, you just have to right-click on the Steam client and select the Run as administrator option.
Disable Xbox Configuration Support

6. Now, Disable Xbox Configuration support.
Clear Download Cache
1. Launch Steam.
