- FIFA 23 is a soccer video simulation game.
- Players prefer to play the game using their game controllers on their PC.
- I will discuss methods to fix Controller Not Working in FIFA 23.

The gameplay’s more convenient and enjoyable if you are using a game controller. But since FIFA 23 consists of bugs/glitches, it’s hard for players to provide the right input from their controllers to the game.
However, this controller not working issue is fixable on Steam and Origin clients. Because the problem isn’t with your controller, it’s mainly because the game clients aren’t responding well to it.

If you are playing FIFA 23 on Steam and your controller isn’t working with the game, it’s mainly because the client isn’t supporting the controller’s input. As on the Origin app, you should have to launch it with administrative rights.
So by considering both clients, I have written 3 methods to help players bypass this issue.
Total Time: 3 minutes
Disable Steam Input

1. Launch the Steam Client on your computer.
2. Navigate to the Library section.
3. Right-click on FIFA 23 and select Properties.
4. Go to the Controller section from the left pane.
5. From the drop-down menu in the right pane, select the Disable Steam Input option.
6. Now, launch FIFA 23 on Steam.
Launch Steam/Origin as Administrator

1. Right-click on the Origin/Steam client and select Properties.
2. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
3. Check the Run as administrator box and click on the Ok button.
Note:Â In some Windows 11 versions, you just have to right-click on the Origin/Steam client and select the Run as administrator option.
Disable Xbox Configuration Support
1. Launch the Steam Client on your computer.
2. Navigate to the Library section.
3. Right-click on FIFA 23 and select Properties.
4. Go to the Controller section from the left pane.
5. From the right pane, click on the General Controller Settings option.
6. Now, Disable Xbox Configuration support.
